With summer quickly approaching, thoughts of tanning, days at the beach, and nights spent on patios are on our minds. 1) Mascot Brewery
Designed like a backyard barbecue, this rooftop patio boasts yellow umbrellas, picnic tables, and white picket fences. The patio seats 200 of your closest friends and features made-from-scratch munchies served through the window of a food cart.
2) Sky Yard
This coveted patio is open all year round atop the Drake Hotel. The patio features nine different menus, including weekend brunch, après work, and three different drink menus.
3) The Porch
Known for their famous bucket drinks served in sand buckets, this rooftop patio is seriously Insta-worthy in the summer months! Located on top of Rock ’n’ Horse Saloon, this patio is a must on any summer bucket list.
4) Thompson Hotel Rooftop Lounge
This elite patio has a 360-degree view of the Toronto skyline and is only available to guests of the Thompson Hotel. Guests are welcome to enjoy the rooftop infinity pool and cozy cabanas.
5) The Flight Deck
Atop Yorkville, this iconic patio is part of The Pilot, a restaurant over 70 years old. In 1972, The Pilot moved to its current location, with legends claiming that a group of Pilot regulars carried the bar around the corner to where it stands today.
6) Madison Ave. Pub and Restaurant
Home to the biggest frat party in the city, the Madison Ave. Pub and Restaurant (aka The Maddy) is a historical Toronto landmark and a crucial part of the U of T experience. Once a basement pub, the Maddy has expanded to fill four floors with five patios, each with their own bar.
