“Personally, I think that undergraduate students aren’t sure who to blame. It is understandable that we are upset. We are losing out on lab experience, courses and some of us risk not graduating because of the strike. Although the
school, and the professors have tried to reassure us and have tried their best to keep things as
normal as possible, I think that there is still a lot of confusion and that confusion leads to
anxiety.”

“I can only hope that the University can come to an agreement to resolve the strike ends as soon as possible so that students can continue to receive the best academic experience that UofT
can offer.”

“What’s one thing about yourself that you would never change?”

“I wouldn’t change my laugh. I personally don’t like it all that much, but it seems be contagious. Life can be stressful enough as is, so it feels pretty good to see other people in a happy mood as well.”

“I’m passionate about visual communication and the influence a visual message can create. Or just simply the idea of making the world a better looking place.”

“If there is one thing you want to change for the world, what would it be?”

“If possible, I would like to change the stigma and discrimination against people who are living with HIV or Aids in current societies by establishing the importance of our help and care towards children who are orphaned by HIV/Aids. And that we should open up to enable infected families to be able to live a positive life.”
